Meet our team


John D. Skarda, President
CFPS

John has a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Kansas State University and obtained his Fluid Power Specialist Certification in 1993. He is the founder of CMDI (2002) and also is President and second generation owner of Skarda Equipment Company, CMDI’s sister company. Along with management duties and approving all quotations for CMDI, John offers support to CMDI projects in the area of PC based control and data tracking.
 
Floyd Winingham, Business Manager
CFPPS

Floyd has a degree in Electronic Service Technology from Southeast Community College in Milford NE and Floyd obtained his Fluid Power Specialist Pneumatic certification in 2004. Floyd is the business manager for CMDI and manages all project quotations for customers. Floyd also supervises and schedules work loads for CMDI personnel, and ensures projects are completed on time and are to the customers complete satisfaction.
 

Jon Steuter, CMDI Technician
CFPPS

Jon has a degree in Electro Mechanical Technology from Southeast Community College in Milford NE and Jon obtained his Fluid Power Specialist Pneumatic certification in 2009 and his Fluid Power Specialist Hydraulic certification in 2011. Jon designs and fabricates electrical control panels and also does PC and PLC programming, VFD drive setup and programming, and is onsite for many startups for customers to ensure complete satisfaction of their projects.
 

Zach Kalisch, CMDI Technician
CFPPS

Zach has a degree in Electro Mechanical Technology from Southeast Community College in Milford NE and Zach obtained his Fluid Power Specialist Pneumatic certification in 2006. Zach designs and fabricates electrical control panels, hydraulic power units, and also does PLC programming and VFD drive setup and programming. Zach also is our specialist for handling Gast products repairs for our Gast repair facility.
